Registration
As our approach to education is unique, it is important that parents understand our methods and some of our educational philosophy. Experience has shown that student benefit if parents and the school have a mutual understanding of child development and our curriculum. Prior to registration, prospective parents must attend a school open tour. In this process a registration fee of few amount is payable.
Application
When a place is available in the School, parents will be sent an application form which should be returned with all the appropriate documentation.
Please provide us with as much information about your child as possible (including any disability). This, together with class visits and interviews, will be used by the School to construct a full picture of the child developmentally and academically so that we can ensure that we can responsibly meet the needs of your child in the School.
At any stage in the Admission Process, the School may request that an applicant has further assessments before moving to the next stage.
Early Years – Nursery to KG-II
For a child to join the Nursery, KG-I or KG-II, she/he must have had their 3rd birthday before the admission date/month of that year. Both parent and child will have an opportunity to meet the teacher before admission. Parents will have ample opportunity to share information about their child.
The Classes (I to XII)
The child and his/her parent(s)/ guardian will be invited for interview. Your child will be interviewed with a class teacher and parent(s) will have a separate meeting with another teacher. The aim of this process is to gauge the suitability of the school for each student and the suitability of each student for a particular class.
Following the interviews, a decision will be made whether to invite the prospective student for a class visit of 3-5 days.
Offer of a place
The Admissions Mandate makes decisions concerning admissions. The section will provide you with the information you need to apply for a place at Green Field School. However, we do hope that you will want to learn more and visit us.
Parents who wish to apply for a place for their child should submit Registration Form (which may be downloaded from the page) to register their interest and submit this form in the school office with the required documents.
Children are admitted at the beginning of each half-term. All places are offered on half-term probation which in exceptional circumstances may be extended.
